Introduction
I am a Registered Nurse licensed through the Board of California Registered Nursing with my certification in CPR/BLS- Adult, Child, and Infant. I am currently enrolled in a Bachelors program through Loma Linda University, California expecting to graduate in October of 2022.
This portfolio will highlight key competencies and experiences which I have gained throughout my nursing education. Within this portfolio can be found my contact, personal introduction, resume, career goals, and select examples of coursework. This information will aid in monitoring/documenting my own career development as well as provide concise information for job applications.
CURRENT WORK
Girls Dean/Religious Volunteer
I currently work as a Girls Dean/Religious Volunteer at Fountainview Academy in British Columbia, Canada. As part of Fountainview’s Student Life Team, I provide spiritual, mental, and physical support for high school students. This involves working with the team to ensure a quality campus environment as well as whole-person care for students. This position has provided unique opportunities to develop my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while working with teenagers. I have also been able to serve as a volunteer school nurse and have enjoyed the medical challenges that has presented.
